FASHION WITHOUT BORDERS :
Round the
World Trip on the theme Fashion For Peace

Yesterday,
Fashion Without Borders was the passion and the dream of two friends.
Today,
Fashion Without Borders is a trip round the world about fashion.
Tomorrow,
Fashion Without Borders will be the union of de signers from the five
continents on the same fashion show stage, to help some charity organisations
and poor families.

CONCEPT
We visit forty countries for one year.
We meet a designer in each country. This designer creates a typical dress
of his or her country which symbolises peaceful and tolerant values. We
also meet some authorities, media, journalists (newspaper, television,
radio
). We take part in many broadcasts. We catch some pictures
and videos (interviews of designers, life scenes, landscapes
)
At the end
of this travel, we will organise some fashion shows in ten cities in France
and abroad. All the dresses collected in the world and all the pictures
will be presented. We have a team in France : 50 models, logistic
We will also release a video and will write a book to tell the story of
this big human adventure.
The benefits of these fashion shows will be given
to some charity organisations. We met and chose these charity organisations
during our travel around the world (Mexico, Brazil, India, Africa). Most
of them belong to PNUD (Programme of the United Nations for the Development).
These organisations teach sawing to poor women. These women need some
machines, some teachers and some places to learn sawing. They take part
in these organisations because they need to create clothes for their families
or sell these clothes to get money.
We have the
official support of the United Nations. We met Mrs Kofi Annan in New York
last December (The United Nations was the first step of our travel around
the world).

HOW THIS
PROJECT WAS BORN ?
- The complicity
of two friends
- A willingness to create
- Love for travel and adventure
- A project to help others
- A passion for fashion
- Suddenly, the idea was born
After the meeting of Michelle Gagnereau,
designer of the two first dresses of Peace. She told us that these dresses
of Peace must be presented in the United Nations to accompany a delegation
of 160 young French ambassadors of Peace.
We become
the young ambassadors of Peace in France. So we dream
. These dresses
will not go only to the United States, but they will travel all over the
world. And some dresses of forty countries will be associated.
WHY MARRY
FASHION AND CHARITY ?
- The
Charity Organisations
Everybody
needs to dress. Some people have even not enough money to eat. Our initiative
includes an idea of exchange and creativity. These charity organisations
are going to create peace dresses as well. By our fashion shows we will
promote the working of these people without resources. And we will help
them to buy materials to keep on working.
- The
Designers
They come
from Europe, Africa, Asia, some are famous, some are young talents. The
union of theses designers from all over the world will give to the spectators
a wonderful example of solidarity.
Each designer will represent his or her country. Through a dress he or
she will express the culture of his or her country and peace values. What
beautiful image to see the designers of the world to give his or her contribution.
By creating a dress, you will be very helpful for these poor women.
